Introduction:

• This vertical burning test instrument is conformance to IEC60332 and several standards, it use specified size Bunsen burner and propane, vertical burn the sample at certain height and angle, according to the ignition time, burning time and burning length to determine whether the sample has danger on fire.
•It is mainly for accessing the flammability of single cable which conductor's diameter is bigger than 8mm (sectional area bigger than 0.5mm2) or smaller than (sectional area smaller than 0.5mm2) . It is applied to lighting equipment, low-voltage apparatus, household appliances, electric tool, electro-technical instruments and parts for researching, manufacturing and quality inspection.

IEC 60332-1-2 Tests on electric and optical fiber cables under fire conditions - Part 1-2: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable - Procedure for 1 kW pre-mixed flame.




Application:

The Single Wire Vertical Flame Burning Test Equipment is used for testing the resistance to vertical flame propagation for a single vertical electrical insulated conductor or cable, or optical fiber cable, under fire conditions.
